Headhunted: MNG Heading lands homegrown talent
5th October 2017
MNG Heading has marked a rewarding first year of business by welcoming its first official Melbourne-based employee, Matthew Surawski, on September 11, 2017.
Matthew will supplement the seconded personnel from MNG and Heading & Associates as Senior Project Manager in the land development space. Armed with 20 years of experience in the Australian and UK land survey industry, Matthew has all the tools to bring success to the business.
Voted the most liveable city in the world in 2017, Melbourne has experienced colossal growth of a nearly a million people in the past decade. A key government strategy is to maintain housing and land affordability which has led to accelerated release of land development structure plans. This strategy aligns well with MNG Heading's growth plans for the future.
Scott Anderson, MD & CEO of MNG, was excited about what Matthews appointment could bring to the table
"Matthew brings a huge wealth of knowledge in the Victorian Greenfields and the Melbourne Strata markets to the MNG Heading team", said Mr Anderson. "We're confident that his knowledge and network in the Victorian market will help accelerate the company's growth in the local market.
"Matthew has shown excellent character in his career to date. And as a father of two young children under six and a supporter of the Western Bulldogs, he's clearly a dedicated young man!
"We look forward to working alongside Matthew as we expand our east coast capabilities."
