MNG at the 11th Annual SPAR International Conference: 14-17 April 2014
10th April 2014
MNG’s commitment to staying ahead of the geospatial curve will see company Director Steve Maughan and Geospatial Business Development consultant Rod Eckels head to Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA for the 11th annual SPAR International 3D Measurement & Imaging Conference later this month.
The 2014 SPAR International 3D Measurement & Imaging Conference will bring together professionals from around the world to discover the latest advances and technologies in 3D data capture, processing and delivery to drive efficiency, improve workflows, reduce project timelines, improve safety and mitigate risk.
Rod will take centre stage at the conference, presenting a paper to the international audience on the benefits of Mobile Laser Scanning and the accuracies it can achieve on infrastructure corridor survey projects for roads, rail, pipelines and powerlines to name a few.
SPAR is the only technology-neutral event in the marketplace. Speakers, attendees and solutions providers share candid information about available and in-process technology solutions, approaches and work processes from peers in a range of disciplines. The exhibit floor includes all the major hardware manufacturers and software developers showcasing their latest technology solutions.
As one of Australia’s most innovative developers of Mobile Laser Scanning technology, MNG Geospatial Manager John Nolan said it was important for MNG delegates to attend conferences such as SPAR to ensure its mantle as one of Australia’s leading providers of the technology was consolidated while also getting an update on technological advancements made internationally for laser scanning data capture. After personally attending the 2013 SPAR Conference, John said there was real value in MNG delegates making the journey to the US for the event.
