Quality and Safety are part of the culture at MNG

9th January 2018

MNG celebrated a decade of excellence and safety in the workplace following our audit in September 2017 and subsequent recertification for Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 and Occupational Health & Safety Management System AS/NZS 4801:2001. Originally certified in 1996, MNG continues to strive to provide and promote a healthy and safe work environment across the entire business and throughout the regional offices. CEO Scott Anderson said that he was thrilled that MNG had achieved this milestone and that the business had truly benefited from the QMS and OHS system. "As Australias leading provider of professional surveying and spatial services it is imperative that our staff not only adopt these standards but fully embrace the culture in every project, which is evident with this recertification".

Led by MNG's QMS Manager Angela Meneghello and Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor Jade Robson, the audit covered field work in Busselton, Broome, and Perth with office procedures in Bunbury, Broome and Jandakot. BSI Group conduct the external audit for the certification, however Angela and Jade conduct internal audits throughout the year to ensuring that all personnel are aware of their obligations and requirements to ensure that all work practices are performed in accordance with company policy and procedures. Angela said that she was very impressed with the response from all personnel during the audits and how they keep looking at ways of how to improve our systems. "Quality and Safety are truly part of the teamwork culture within MNG today which rewards our clients and personnel".
