Industry experts celebrate 25 years and launch new look
22nd October 2014
The future looks bright for MNG, Western Australia’s newly re-launched surveying services company which, until yesterday, was known as MNG. Under the stewardship of its Managing Director and CEO, Scott Anderson, the business, which has provided survey and spatial solutions to Australia’s land development, resources and infrastructure industries for 25 years, has been re-branded, and in the process has clarified its direction – as a large, highly skilled and well-resourced team with the passion, hands-on service and attention to detail more reflective of a small business.
Mr Anderson is clear on the business rationale behind the organisation’s re-brand. As well as wanting to celebrate its 25th year of innovation, the decision marks the company's success at standing the test of time and remaining the leading privately owned surveying company in the sector.
"We are a can-do, open company that genuinely cares about every project and we will never cut corners," Mr Anderson says. "Our proven track record has earned us a high level of trust and respect through the industries we service and we very proud of our reputation.
"The launch of the new brand gives us an opportunity to demonstrate the rebirth of our organisation and mark a quarter of a century of success; we’ve earned a high level of trust and respect in the industries we service and have a strong plan and clear vision for our business."
Since being founded in 1989 by John McMullen and Gerry Nolan, MNG has primarily operated in WA, while maintaining the capabilities to service markets interstate and overseas. During that time it has invested heavily in market leading technology, from customised R&D development to online client services.
The company currently employs 138 staff and provides industry leading land surveying services across Perth and regional WA, including Bunbury, Port Hedland, Newman, Broome, Kununurra and Margaret River, on a range of land development, subdivision, engineering, construction, resources and infrastructure projects.
"Land development constitutes a significant part of our business, hence we are very proud to have won more than 65 Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA) Awards for Excellence during our time. We are incredibly thankful to our loyal client base for this opportunity," Mr Anderson adds.
"The quality assured principles and procedures are reflected in our work, and we see our expertise and innovation enabling us to successfully move into parallel industries into the future."
Nigel Satterley, Founder and Chief Executive of Satterley Property Group, has been a long-term client of MNG and congratulates the organisation on reaching this significant milestone.
"The Satterley Property Group has enjoyed a strong partnership with MNG over the past quarter of a century. Over this time, MNG has provided surveying services to hundreds of new land developments, which now are home to thousands of Western Australians. We look forward to a continued successful relationship with MNG and working with the entire team under the new MNG brand," concluded Mr Satterley.
Based in Jandakot and with offices across WA, MNG provides a complete spectrum of surveying and spatial solutions, including land development surveys, cadastral surveys, strata titles, resources and infrastructure surveys, 3D terrestrial and mobile laser scanning, advanced subsurface investigation, mapping services, hydrographic surveys and geographic information systems (GIS).
The organisation primarily services public and private land developers in addition to the resources and infrastructure sector.
MNG's new brand and image represents multiple products, while the colour palette of blue, green and orange are reflective of the Australian environment.
