Hungry to help: MNG chargrills for charity

25th May 2017

MNGs Workplace Giving Program continues to benefit the community, with the company recently hosting a BBQ at Princess Margaret Hospital.

Armed with tongs and smiles, six MNG volunteers donned the purple apron and fired up the coals to grill a delicious dinner for approximately 350 kids, parents and hospital staff " all in support of the Perth Childrens Hospital (PCH) Foundation.

MNGs People Services Manager Rhonda McFadden was proud of the generosity and teamwork shown by MNG employees. It was a hectic service, but a great way to support our charity and to engage with the kids, parents and hospital staff.

The PCH Foundation exists to ensure that all 63,000 kids that attend the emergency department each year have the best care and treatment possible. By supporting the Foundation, MNG is helping to positively impact childrens health through funding vital equipment, expertise and facilities.

And the support has not gone unnoticed

Manager Corporate Partnerships at PCH Foundation Carol Wallbank was thrilled that MNG hosted the BBQ, noting the amazing volunteers made the evening a great success. Meanwhile Denys Pearce, PCH Foundation CEO, thanked all Workplace Givers for their support.

I want to say a very big thank you for all the efforts youve gone to over the past twelve months to help support the Foundation, and in doing so, help support the kids at Princess Margaret Hospital.

Since its inception, MNGs Workplace Giving program has raised a total of $11,304 for PCH Foundation, as well as $37,500 in corporate donations.
